Water-Lily Foundation Represents at the 2025 Ghana CSOs Forum in Accra

The Water-Lily Foundation proudly participated in the 2025 Ghana Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) Forum, held at GNAT Hall, Accra, reaffirming our strong commitment to civic engagement, sustainable development, and collaborative partnerships.

Our delegation was ably represented by Dr. Abdul-Samed Faisal Gunu and Mr. Aminu Gafaru, who actively contributed to discussions and shared insights on how civil society can play a pivotal role in advancing Ghana’s development agenda. Their presence demonstrated the Foundation’s dedication to ensuring that grassroots perspectives and community-driven solutions are well-represented in national policy conversations.

The Ghana CSOs Forum is one of the most important annual gatherings of civil society actors in the country. It brings together development practitioners, policymakers, donor agencies, and civic leaders to deliberate on strategies that promote good governance, social accountability, and inclusive development. The 2025 edition highlighted the crucial role of collaboration between government institutions and non-governmental organizations in addressing pressing socio-economic challenges.

For the Water-Lily Foundation, participation in the Ghana CSOs Forum was more than representation — it was an opportunity to network, exchange knowledge, and explore innovative approaches to strengthen civil society’s impact in local communities. Our team engaged in sessions focused on governance reforms, youth and women empowerment, climate resilience, and community-driven development.

We extend our deepest appreciation to Dr. Gunu and Mr. Gafaru for representing the Foundation with excellence and integrity. Their active involvement reflects the values of the Water-Lily Foundation: partnership, inclusivity, and accountability.

As we look ahead, the Water-Lily Foundation remains committed to leveraging platforms like the Ghana CSOs Forum to amplify community voices, foster collaboration across sectors, and contribute meaningfully to Ghana’s sustainable future.
